It has been a busy year for us and for Pavilion. We’ve had the opportunity to show the game at a number of events, including Dreamhack in Stockholm, BitSummit in Kyoto and E3 and Indiecade in Los Angeles. Now we will get to wrap up this packed year by taking Pavilion to the PlayStation Experience event in Las Vegas!

PlayStation Experience is a massive two-day community event dedicated to fans of PlayStation, and this year marks the first time it is ever held. We will be there with Pavilion for two whole days from December 6-7. Stop by if you want to get your hands on the latest demo.

For those of you who won’t have the opportunity to attend the PlayStation Experience, don’t fret. We have something for you as well!

We recently recorded a session with Visiontrick Co-Founder and Art Director Rickard Westman talking about the art direction, music, work process and history of Pavilion. We will be releasing this as a number of shorter featurettes, the first of which will be out… well it is already here! Take a look!

Greetings,

We just wanted to say thanks to everyone who came and played the new Pavilion demo at Dreamhack Stockholm this weekend. It was a real pleasure seeing people, young and old, give it a go and enjoying it. Thanks to this we have also ironed out some minor bugs that we were not aware of as well as tuning the experience even further.

Anyhow, if you are still looking to get your hands on the demo in the near future, keep an eye on this page and we will post more information about that shortly.

As usual you can find us on twitter and facebook.

Oh, one last thing, here is one more of those Vine videos for everyone who didn’t got to play the demo.

A couple of weeks ago we put together a new trailer for Pavilion to be shown at E3 this year, but due to length restriction of the video we had to cut certain scenes from it. So we though we would, in correlation with posting on the Playstation blog, post the full length version of the E3 trailer here.

You can watch the video above and check out the blog post over at the PlayStation blog in which we dive a little bit deeper into the gameplay behind Pavilion.

Hi there!

We’re finally back from BitSummit, a bit tired but also very pleased with and energized from attending the event and meeting a bunch of great people.

But one step at a time. Just before attending the event we released a new
video teaser on the PlayStation blog

The video was very well received and we appreciate all the interesting discussions and positive  comments that followed. Be sure to look out for more video material in the coming months.

Anyhow, shortly after the teaser was released we went to the fantastic event of BitSummit in Kyoto, showing off a new demo of Pavilion. We greatly appreciate everyone who came by to play the game, give feedback and just chat with us. Thank you, we had a great time!

Destructoid came by and did an article on the game and then featured it as one of top games at BitSummit.

Also, just before setting out for BitSummit Mike Rose wrote an article on
Gamasutra about Pavilion and the early stage of development, which you can read here.

Our musician Tony Gerber has also put up a track from the Pavilion soundtrack which you can listen to above. If you like it, please check out Tony’s other projects and personal music and support him if you like what he is doing.

Until next time. Take care everyone,

Allbeit a bit late, we wanted to wish you all a happy new year!

And to celebrate this new year we thought we would give you, in the spirit of current times, some gifs from Pavilion. You might reconginze one of the gifs if you’ve played the Pavilion demo at Tokyo Game Show or GameX this year, otherwise they all might be new to you. Click on them to view a larger version.

Recently Pavilion was also featured as one of Indie Statiks 100 most anticipated indie games of 2014 as well as one of Pocket Gamers 10 most anticipated PlayStation Vita games of 2014. For this we are very grateful and hope that 2014 will be a wonderful year for Pavilion!

Until next time, take care!

Tokyo Game Show Roundup.

We are now back from a superb Tokyo Game Show where we, for the first time, exhibited Pavilion in the public. We must say that it went better then we could ever expect and the reception of Pavilion was just great. So thanks to everyone that came and played Pavilion, we really appreciate it.

So the week started of on Wednesday evening when we attended the Indie Underground event to do a short presentation of Pavilion. You can find it over at Ustream, the sound is not the best but hopefully you can still enjoy bits of behind the development of Pavilion. http://www.ustream.tv/recorded/38925965

During Tokyo Game Show we were visited by the guys from “Where does godzilla poo?” to do a short video interview that you can find over at: http://wheredoesgodzillapoop.com/?p=6496

Japanese national television also did a interview but it ended up as bits n’ pieces in a more general video about the Indie showcase. http://www3.nhk.or.jp/nhkworld/newsline/201309192222.html

Polygons Michael McWhertor came by to play the demo and ended up writing a small piece about it, which perhaps sheds more light on the gameplay for people who have not played it. http://www.polygon.com/2013/9/23/4760986/pavilion-ps4-ps-vita-tgs

And last, for our French readers(if we have any?), gameblog.fr filmed and talked when Henrik played the demo. http://www.gameblog.fr/news/38368-tgs-impressions-de-pavilion-la-pepite-ps4

That’s all for now but it won’t be too long until the next update.

Take care.

Today, during Sony Japans(SCEJ) press conference one could see Pavilion doing a brief appearance in the indie section.
As you might now have guessed, Pavilion will be released on PlayStation 4 & PlayStation Vita sometime next year. We will give more... Today, during Sony Japans(SCEJ) press conference one could see Pavilion doing a brief appearance in the indie section.

Today, during Sony Japans(SCEJ) press conference one could see Pavilion doing a brief appearance in the indie section.

As you might now have guessed, Pavilion will be released on PlayStation 4 & PlayStation Vita sometime next year. We will give more detailed information about this in the near future. Until then we will give you 3 new screenshots from the game in its current state.

A reminder for people living in Tokyo or attending Tokyo Game Show this year. On the evening of 9/18, the day before Tokyo Game Show starts, we will attend the Indie Underground Event to do a short presentation of Pavilion. Except us, there will be a bunch of other prominent indie developers showing off their latest creations. So you should definitely check it out if you have the opportunity.

One last reminder regarding Tokyo Game Show and where you can find us.

During the first two days 19th-20th you’ll find us in the Indie Games Area located in Hall 4, booth 4-N23.

Then on 21st-22nd we’ll be in the Indie Games Area located in Hall 9, booth 9-C30.

Hope to see you there!
